A new wastewater system, based on the master plan 2030, will be developed in Abu Dhabi, incorporating both new urban and industrial areas. The Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program, shortly named »STEP«, includes a 40-km long main sewer as well as supply tunnels and pump stations.
